Electrical conductivity of soils provides valuable information about the productivity potential.  Our EM38 DD™ meter defines zones in agricultural fields that are georeferenced and can be used to manage irrigation, nutrients, pruning or many other production variables.  Shown above are the differences in apple shoot growth from different zones within the EC map.  These zones were used to alter irrigation during the season to avoid stress or excessive growth.  Moisture monitors can also track soil moisture levels within each zone throughout the season.
